Believe it or not, it's that time again! Spring Break is almost here. But parents still have to work! Below are some Spring Break kids camps that will be offered here in Sonoma County. Let us know if we've missed any!

 

 

 

 

 

Childrens Museum of Sonoma County

Camp Description: Where Art meets Science. In this week long camp children will explore: color science, engineering, chemical reactions and chain reactions.  Campers will get messy, build things and have a great time! The camp ends with an Art Show on Friday at 2 pm. (If your child attended ArtLab over the summer, please note that this camp will not be identical).

Flying Frog Academy

Camp Description: At Flying Frog Academy your children can spend their day being physically active and learning to move in new ways, all while having fun in a safe and supervised environment! Each day campers (ages 6-14) will be able to jump, climb, swing, and flip in our one of a kind indoor parkour park! All campers will have the opportunity to play games and learn parkour or acrobatics too. Make sure you remember to bring athletic shoes, and if you’re a full day camper, be sure to bring a lunch!

 

Lil' Athletes All Sports Camp

Cost: Full Day $40, half day $25, Register for all 5 days is $5 off each day
Camp Description: Camp includes instruction from highly qualified coaching staff and a daily snack. Sports City membership is not required for the camp. Non-members must sign a waiver at the first day of class.

  

Redwood Empire Gymnastics

Camp Description: Kids will spring into action as they work and play on trampolines, bars, pits, bars, beams, ropes, fort building and much more! Every morning we have gymnastics, games, arts and crafts, and our special jump in the zone time. After lunch we work on more gymnastics, jump zone and other sports like soccer, volleyball, field hockey, indoor golf and jumping rope.  Rest periods provide an opportunity for kids to engage in arts and crafts. Snacks are provided. Sessions are available a la carte-pick a session for each day or the entire week. Pre-care and after care are also available by request with reservations. Reservation form is available on our website. Please pack a lunch for full day camps.

Camp Description: Come spend your Spring Break at Rohnert Park Gymnastics! Each day campers (ages 3 and up) will have the chance to play in the pit, jump on the trampolines, fly on the zip line, play tons of games, and much more! Half Day Camp is from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Lunch is every day from 12-12:30pm, so Full Day Campers (9:00am - 3:00pm) must bring their own lunch. Snacks will be provided in both the morning and afternoon. For families that need to get moving earlier or stay later, we offer Warm Up and Wind Down extended care sessions.

Camp Description: If your child likes soccer, they will love our SPRING BREAK IN THE NET Soccer Camps! This soccer camps offer beginner to intermediate players the opportunity to build a solid soccer foundation. On the field each day, players will improve their individual skills and tactical awareness. Each day is filled with fundamental skill progression drills, easy to understand instruction, as well as games & competition. Not only are group drills stressed, but also much time is spent on individual work. This is a great place to develop their individual soccer skills and confidence in a fun and positive environment. Scribbles and Giggles

Spring Break Surf Camp

Camp Description: Back by popular demand is our Spring Break Surf Camp! Kids are invited to come out to Doran Regional Park for spring break, when the weather is at its best and the waves are large enough to build skills but not too big to be intimidating. Partnering with Bodega Bay Surf Shack, our expert open water lifeguards will show campers the basic principles of surfing as kids make new friends and learn about the amazing gift that is the Sonoma County coastline. Participants will learn the history of surfing, how to safely enter and exit the waves and how to stay safe in the midst of rip tides.

 

Sur La Table Cooking Camp

Camp Description: Learning the key techniques of cooking is important for everyone—especially kids! This spring break, bring in your little chefs for our three-day culinary camp filled with hands-on culinary exploration of the wonderful cuisine of Italy. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors and other young cooks, junior chefs will learn essential cooking techniques that are a foundation for a lifetime of fun and creativity in the kitchen. In addition to kitchen fundamentals like basic knife skills, how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety; we’ll show kids how to use an assortment of traditional kitchen tools and time-tested techniques from one of the most popular cuisines in the world. This hands-on camp is designed for kids ages 8-12. Classes are about two hours a day for three days and participants must register for the entire series. No single day enrollments.
