Actors' Theater for Children presents The Velveteen Rabbit!
Adapted by John Stephens from the book of the same title by Margery Williams. A lonely boy receives a wonderful Christmas gift and a toy rabbit learns some valuable lessons about life and love. In this humorous and touching adaptation of the children’s classic, the Velveteen Rabbit encounters the antics of toys and wild rabbits in his faithful quest to be “real.”
Actors' Theater for Children is local, non-profit, live theater, specifically created for children! Every year local actors volunteer their time to perform for the families of Sonoma County. They offer an intimate, relaxed setting for the whole family to enjoy their funny and spirited shows. Prices are kept low so everyone can enjoy!
Since 1971, Actors’ Theater For Children has delighted young audiences with their interpretations of classic children’s literature, folklore, and mythology. They are a nonprofit community theater group comprised entirely of volunteers. Their mission is to develop an appreciation for the theater arts among the children of Sonoma County through this craft, for they are the real hope of future theater artists and audiences.
