We have many museums in the Bay Area to both stimulate and educate our children. Did you know that many of these museums offer a FREE admission day every month? It's true! I love this concept - simply to guarantee that every child has an opportunity to visit these wonderful places!

Free Bank of America Museums on Us Program

Bank of America credit or debit card holders get one FREE general admission on the first full weekend of every month. Present your card and a photo ID for admission (one free general admission per cardholder). The following museums are participants:

  • California Academy of Science (San Francisco): One Sunday per quarter (4 times a year). Next FREE day is February 7, 2016.
  • Charles Schulz Museum (Santa Rosa): Offers FREE days occasionally; see website for information.
  • Exploratorium (San Francisco): FREE admission days are offered occasionally; see website for more information. Next FREE day is February 2, 2016.
  • Habitot Childrens Museum (Berkeley): Offers occasional sponsored FREE days.

You can also take advantage of the Sonoma County Library's Discover & Go program which offers FREE or discounted tickets to many local venues. Participants are subject to change, however, some of those in the program as of February 2016 are: Asian Art Museum, Schulz Museum, Lawrence Hall of Science, Marine Mammal Center, Pacific Coast Air Museum, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
