The 21st Annual Seafood, Art, and Wine Festival comes to Bodega on August 27 & 28! This festival is packed full of delicious food, wine & beer tasting, art, and live entertainment. This event is very family-friendly, with many wonderful things for children to do!
One unusual activity for all ages is the 5'x18' “color-in giant mural”. The mural features a compilation of black and white images taken over the years at the show, to be colored in with washable paints. The mural is near the Entertainment Stage.
Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods will be hosting Interactive Environmental Exhibits - both educational and fun for all ages.
Live stage entertainment for kids will feature the amazing and hilarious Captain Jack Spareribs throughout the weekend, performing magic, juggling, ventriloquism and other astonishing and amusing things. Calvin Kai Ku, a gymnast and magician extraordinaire will perform Saturday, and Sunday will feature the lovely, soft-spoken, yet hilarious Merry Mary. Tightrope-walking, juggling and mayhem follow in her wake.
What's a family-friendly festival without face painting? Clementine the Amazing will be face-painting all weekend with her crew of artisans.
The Painting Garden with Rebecca Love will be back with her wonderful selection of ceramics which children, or anyone for that matter, can paint and take home.
And of course the always popular jumpies, slides, and a rock wall. This year there is a new addition of the Wake Attack, a trampoline-harness ride!
Kid-friendly food is abundant, both seafood and non, including: hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, fried shrimp, and other kid-friendly treats like ice cream, sno cones, cotton candy and kettle corn.
Speaking of food, lets not forget the bounty of dishes for both seafood lovers and non! This festival represents local seafood creations and a variety of ethnic cuisine. Barbecued oysters, crab cakes, Key Lime calamari, fish tacos, albacore wrapped in bacon, grilled salmon, fish and chips, Indian cuisine, fresh crab salad, and cocktails, and vegetarian falafel and frittata are just some of the delicious items on the menus.

The festival focuses on seafood, but there is plenty of meat, chicken, and vegetarian options to please all pallets, as well as sweet treats. Where else will you find such a variety in one place? This is a food lover’s dream festival.
For the adults in the family, there are more than 50 companies pouring delicious and unique wine and beer to try! Tasting is $20 for a glass and 6 tastes (each taste is 1/3 of a glass). Or wine and beer by the glass can be purchased for $8.
4 stages of entertainment give festival-goers a full day of musical and non-musical diversion, featuring live music of all kinds, comedy shows, kids entertainment, fruit & vegetable carving, and chef demos.
